• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Finally got my Sound System together the way I wanted it!!!

Thanks geddy the dimensions would be great. Would this work if my port for my box is on the back side?

The width of the frame from wheel well to wheel well is 45" and the hiegth of the frame is 18 1/2". That gives you about 1/2" clearance between the frame and the lower part of the rear deck. Also keep in mind you have to smooth the corners down to put on the outer part of the trunk. Cause its curved right there at the ends. It took a few tries with a sander to smooth the edges down to where it would fit properly.

Here are some pictures again of the sub frame outside of the car before the installation was completed.

As you can see in this picture, the curve I am talking about that I had to cut into the frame.

Here you see both sides, the one on the right is not as perfect as the one the left is, but it gives you an idea of what you need to do in the corners to give the frame a decent fitted look.

Here are some daylight photos of the trunk again and the passthru with the rear seat fully installed. The wiring is not as clean as I would like it, but I will later on the future when I get my silver 4ga StreetWires to replace the not so color coordinated wires in there currently. The 1/0ga wires are hard to rearrange, so they are gonna stay where they are, but the Remote wires and the 4ga wires will be tucked in behind the pass through wall into the PowerPlant to give it a much cleaner look.

And the pass through closes up perfectly without any interferance from the PowerPlant.

Here is one thing I forgot to photograph as well. The 1/0 Kuntz Concepts 3 ANL Mini fuse distribution block. I love this thing!

And lastly a few daylight pictures of the trunk...

Looks sexy James! It would be cool if you could somehow arrange the cables in your block to be a "shape" or something...first thing that came to mind was a biohazard symbol. You know me...just rambling...:)

hummmmmmmmm intriguing your thoughts sir! I would have to order more cable............which I am gonna be doing anyways in the future!! To bad it didnt come in green and black? hehe

personally id run the leads out just like the spider legs. would blend nicely, all one colour would help too lol but i know you have that planned ;)

Yeah that would be a neat idea, but I dont want to lengthen my cords to much. The 1/0ga wire will not be moving anywhere. Its just way to big and bulky to attempt anything with. The 4ga cable is a lot more pliable and flexible for such a task, but for now it is going to wait till I get my other cabling to replace the "mutt" grounds I have in currently.

yeah thats the only down side,
the big ones are perfectly set, its just the uppers that are crossing over mess it up

I agree 100% on that. Hopefully in the next month or so I will be able to get the wiring to clean it up before Branson, it not, it will have to wait till later, but all I have to do is close the pass thru section and no one is the wiser ;)

its like a top secret organization under that cover lol...

BTW, i like how you did the side extentions by attachin with a hinge so you can gain rear access and put em back nice and neat and fit em perfectly.

im also currious about cost of components. (electrical , not wood lol)
