Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Interior lights replaced with LED's - WOW what a difference

everything is blue from rear lamps to front map lamps to floor lamps...all blue. I did however decide to keep the mirrior lights stock, because in the rare event that I acutally need some white light, I can always fold down my visor and open the mirror on driver and passenger side :th_thumb-up: may convert 'em to white LED's for that ultra look. and I just noticed my trunk light is out sooo of course will be replacing that in blue :th_king-evil:

the picture lights up the interior white cause I had flash on the camera with that particular picture.

Pics?

I've got my blue leds in the holy shiv handles and in the dome lights... They look awesome, best part is.. last weekend I installed my system.
Turns out this handy new Kenwood Amp of mine glows blue inthe back seat! haha
looks even better : )

thats awsome
id love to have the ability with like a hidden swich to change em from blue to white - this way the 5-0 doesnt give me a hard time.

Is this possible? I don't care about cops but just in general that'd be sweet if I could get both blue and white lights installed and have some sort of master switch somewhere to flip them all back and forth.

Well, what you could do is have two leds hooked up to the wire one going + to + and - to - and other + to - and - to +, then just have a DPDT switch to reverses the current.

not 100% in diagram, just use multimeter to read what gets switched to what.

thats what i was thinking, only these kit pieces are premade boards with the lights essentially, so the only way this would work is if im making my own.. witch isnt impossible..

You can use his, just need to buy some extra bulb sockets from the junkyard or where-ever. Then splice it reverse way to the existing bulb socket's wires. Then tape them together, or somehow attach it close to where the other one is mounted. The only hard one would be the reading ones above the rear view mirror.

Then find where all the wires lead to and splice in the switch. I'm assuming they will all meet around the fuse box near the passanger door. Only problem is if they are not all on the same fuse, might need more than one switch. Though, who doesn't want a row of toggle switches under their dash? ^^

EDIT:

IDK I think the diode-dynamic guy screwed me. Two of the LEDs were a different color blue, and one is already burnt out... in less than a week...

Would your friend take some more orders? From the looks of it, you have 97-03 style GP correct? I would be most interested to see if he would? Everyone could enjoy making a little more cash :)
i am down too , tell ur buddy i want a set too , what color can he work with , im looking for exotics not white, maybe pink , if not lemme know and i can settle for white

My wife's GTP had cool white LEDs in all the courtesy lights and dome/map lights when we bought it. They look incredible, but one of the map lights started blinking incessantly for some reason, so I switched them back to regular bulbs since I had a couple laying around. Started looking like a strobe light when the door was open. Funny at first, but it got old fast. I don't think it was a problem with installing them or anything, just a bad LED. I will probably order some new ones and switch them back.

You can goto Paul's site and look at his selection and choose from his many different types of LEDs. You wont go wrong!! This I can assure you!!!

Here is his site for ordering and checking out the different stages of LEDs he has.

Yeah that blinking is the LED going bad. When Paul was doing the installs on my car for the pictures that are on his site and here, we had a couple of them do that too. We just swapped em out and they were back to nice solid LED Cool White/Blue.

Like you, I have the cool blue in the vanity mirrors as well, I didnt think blue LEDs would have looked so good there :p

I ordered some the other day and well I have a problem w/ the dome light leds. they dont seem to fit it the slot. Ideas?

Which ones did you buy? And which overhead lights are you referring to? The Map ligts in the front, or the lights in the rear seat area of your car?

Both they don't fit in snug at all like I need to electric tape them, I bought the stage 2 kit....waste of money ill order some more but won't from him.

Uh if you're having problems with any of our products... send me a message... I can't do anything until I randomly find posts like yours. They have been tested and installed on your vehicle. The size is correct, it's not like buying the same bulb from another company would magically make it fit correctly. I can certainly help you out if you'd like to provide a more detailed description of the problem.

Thank you!
Paul

I just installed the stage 3 red lights from Diode Dynamics. They are amazing. Super bright. All my friends liked it when I had the stage 1's in. Now I can't wait to see what they have to say when they see the stage 3's.

I will continue using Diode Dynamics for my bulb needs.
