gp gt vs monte carlo dale earnhardt ss

So this morning about 6:15, I was driving to work minding my business and as I was approaching a stop light, I noticed that there was a Monte Carlo Dale Earnhardt ss waiting for the light to turn green. Anyways before I could come to a complete stop, the light turns green he/she/it floors it. since i wasn't expecting to kick some *ss, he/she/it had 3 cars lengths in front of me. As were approching a bridge I was able to catch up. Now that were racing neck to neck I look over node my head and smile, by the time he saw my pearly whites, I was a car lenth in front of him. As I pass the entrance to my job, I'm already pushing 90+mph, by that time I looked at my rear view mirror and he/she/it had given up. since it took me awhile to come to a complete stop I turned around and went to work and still made it on time. As for the Monte, what can I say better luck next time.
By the way I'm running cai, u-bend delete, cat back and an electric cutout.
 


You know what, your absolutely right. a few years back I raced a red monte we took off on the green light, I was up on him by a bumper and slowly pulling away. well earlier that morning it had rained, so the roads were still wet. anyways I beat him by a car length or so. As I started to slow down coming to a 4 way stop he kept going finally slamming on the brakes and sliding into a fence and going into a ditch. as I drove passed him that car was on its side so you know there was damage to the car, don't know what he was thinking. What a dumb F*%K.
 


Some chick drives the fastest Monte SS in the country that was powered by a Novi2000 Procharger esque setup that ran an 11.4 :D But that was one of a kind...

well every gp owners going to have different opinion on other cars other than their own same way as monte carlo owners too. i was always wanting a 97-03 gtp and thought the 00-05 mc was ugly looking too, but after i got one myself and mod it out little bit it totally change the look of it. not picking on you jessica or 04 plus gpers but i never like the 04 and up gp cause i hate how they only made 4 doors, the spoiler is flat, and the front grills are ugly. if you delete the middle bar between the grills it kinda look like a boat or rice bowl shape:th_jester:.

the mc is not much longer than the 97-03 coupe it's about less than 12". the gtp is bulkier while the mc is thinner that's why it looks kinda long and weight pretty close to the gp.

nice killed btw! the mc didn't come with supercharged until 04-05.

I like the new body style just because they arent so wide...but I will admit the older ones can look MEAN!!!
 
the 4th gen is my fav too. the 07 mc body style is almost the same as the 00-05. the only different on the 07 are tail lights, spoiler,and front end. the rest of the body are same. the tail and stand up spoiler will fit the 00-05 with no modification, except if the mc that come with surf board spoiler then you have to redrill new holes.

seriously? wow, i bet he felt really dumb afterward. he shouldnt have let his machoness get in the way.
 
he was definitely embarrassed, I mean that intersection gets pretty busy in the morning with a lot of semi trucks and cars passing by going to and from Chicago. Makes me wonder how long he was there before he was rescued. when I drove by there after work the car was gone but fence was still on the ground. I was surprised how close he came to smashing into a phone post. I guess at the end he was luck that he didn't hit that phone post.
