bulls**t: the story of my gp

I'm currently eighteen, for almost two years now I've wanted a camaro. When the time came for me to get a new car my parents said that wasn't possible beacause it's rwd, and the winters around here are harsh and we live on a mt. So in winter I wouldn't make it home. Crushed, I searched for a new dream car. One day I passed a grand prix on the way home and fell in love:) I did some reasearch and found it was perfect. Well fast forward two months and I have a silver gt coupe sittin in my driveway. I was sooo happy, had 43000 miles and a clean carfax. Perfect right? Wrong. First day I have it the god damn engine blows... The asshole who had it last took off the oil pan, like WTF who does that? Anyways I've left carless and sad for five days, my mechanic found a 3800 from an impala to drop in...82000 miles but it was cheap. Oh well. Two days later the car is leaking oil.. Valvecovers were messed up. Another day without my car. Things were good then for about a week until one day, I get in the car to go to work and she won't start, no grindin or nothin. Starter went, another day without the car. I'm thinkin of sellin it soon, it's not worth the headaches... But if it sells I can get a gtp =D

Well you have pretty much fixed everything. So there does not seem like there is much else to go wrong lol. Cheer up.

look on the bright side not muc else can fail hopefully haha and yeah shoulda got a gtp to begin with =] research and the internet are your friend =]

True ^ and it sucks because there was a white gtp for sale with the f1 hood and slp spoiler but my mom was like na too many miles.. 140000

140k on these cars really isnt that bad, i had a old bonneville withe 3.8 back in the day that had way over 200k on it. i didnt maintain it very well and it still ran really good when i sold it.

I bought my 1997 grand prix gt for 1750$... was going for 4800$ but I've got some pretty decent connections.

I dished 7000$ into just maintaining the veh before letting it slowly die and selling it for $1000 as is(which it was NOT worth, but if a shmuck will offer to pay it, I'll take it) haha

moral of the story. some people just have bad luck... but you still gotta love your car. I took that 1000$ and put it as a down deposit on an 04 grand prix, didn't even look at another car. haha

I'd still rather a GTP.... F insurance companies over charging.
I already pay 360$ a month to drive this thing with the bare minimum legal cvrg + fire and theft. haha

dude ur driving record must be reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bad... i have a bad record and only pay 90 a month got my gtp

perfect record. lol
And driving school.
also had my own insurance for over 5 years now...

F insurance companies.

I've gone to three different brokers, they all pointed me to this company haha.
Trust me, I don't pay this much by choice, I pay this because I need insurance to drive. haha.

I'm a 20 year old MALE driving a 2004 Grand Prix GT. Apparently that's enough of a reason to make me pay more on insurance than I do to own the car. lol

ohhh I know. I also know that my insurance company offers a wicked common lawdiscount on multi veh accounts.... Me and the woman will have been living together for 1 year as of feb 1st(2010). my bday is in march(2010 obviously haha).. they also have a drop for 21 year olds... HOOT HOOT

We'll talk again next year. haha

NICKKK JESUS CHRIST ITS YOUR CAR GO BUY THE F1 HOODED BEAST WITH THE SLP WING AND CALL IT A DAY! just my 2cents ha

get the gtp and never look back.. haha i should be getting my first insurence bill for the gtp soon here.. kinda scared to see what it is...hopefully its not even more cause its a comp g. i got such a good deal on the car i didnt care about anything else haha

If everythings fixed don't sell it for a GTP, do a topswap.
A GT with a topswap/supercharger is actually more powerful then a GTP and a topswap will cost you less then paying the difference on buying the GTP.
