I just went on my first ever cruise. We sailed on the Norwegian Dawn down to Samana D.R., Tortola and St. Thomas for 7 days. It was quite a new experience and some of the photos were quite breath taking and I wanted to share some here and provide the link to the site for the rest of them.

I hope you all enjoy them as much as I did :) Thanks for lookin!!

Here is a video of me holding a nice Aligator down in the Everglades on one our excursions after we disembarked the boat.....

A couple other shots I truly loved!

A couple sunrise and sunset pictures

One shot I loved on one of the beaches in St. Thomas. It almost looks black and white, but it is actually color.

These are some night shots of downtown Miami when we sailed into port at the end our trip.

Here is one of me on our airboat in the Everglades, we had to stuff our ears with tissue paper to avoid adding any plastics into the environment of the Everglades. Of course I had to be goofy about it :p

And one I am sure that is gonna be a classic.....A big arse on a small arse :)

To view all the pictures, well ok only half, I took a total 1020 shots and 30+ videos while on my cruise. The site only has about 500+ and some are dupes, but I have not gone back through to weed them out.

I like the pics...

I personally dont want to go on a cruise. water all around with no land in swimming distance...

Naw in todays world of sailing on Cruise ships, unlike the days of the Titanic, Cruise lines are manadated by federal law to have enough emergency boats and equipment for ALL passangers and crew. We had to do an emergency drill when we first got on the ship to know where to go incase of an emergency.

But you are correct. I realized once at sea how SMALL the land mass is that we inhabit as compared to the amount of water surrounding us. Of course I always knew it was like 70% water to 30% land mass around the globe, but when you are actually out in the middle of nowhere in the ocean, you truly get that sense of reality.

poor horse, I guess they were out of elephants:D

LMAO! Next I see you? Remind me to beat you senseless :D

I did ask them, of course all the spoke was Spanish, if they had a horse for "size fat a$$."

Of course they had NO CLUE what I was trying to say :p I think the picture is proof enough :th_doh:

No actually he was some English guy living in Florida acting as our lame arse tour guide to the Everglades. Of course we drive through the section of Miami that has all the homeless people and he politely points that out. I got a bit of a chuckle out of that. :th_embarassed:

Sooo they didn't want you to use rubber, plastic or foam earplugs, in case they might fall out?
Both times I've been to Everglades Natl Park, we rented a boat and spent all day zipping though the canals and hoping not to be ran over by the airboats.
