Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Whats everyones tool of choice...

YEa my buddys got around 10 grand in tools tucked away in 2 dull green harbor boxes and his garage has been broke into twice they didnt even open the box just moved it to steal his stereo.

Na craftsman are a hell of a good tool for the priice for the average joe and some of there proffesional line is pretty nice
After working with mostly snap on and matco at school tho theres really no goin back

I was honestly considering building a extensive set of craftsman tools but with the discounts on the big brand i cant resist matco and snap on lol

The low down on Matco is that they are the exact same tool as a Craftsman Professional. Snap-on is great, but our local dealer is a knucklehead, so I don't buy from him. On top of it all, they are outsourcing a good share of their stuff to China now. The only American tool company left that I know of is Cornwell. Cornwell today is what Snap-On was 50 years ago, The all-American family owned tool company. Our Cornwell guy is really cool, and the tools are top notch, so he is getting a lot of money from me.

craftman sucks! if u got a set form 30 years ago they r awesome. now adays they r crap. that and the sears store here inspects the tool returns with a microscope. they see one little ding or hammer mark they say its abuse and wont cover it. a cheap brand that really impressed me a few years ago so i bought an entire set and never have a problem with is gearwrench.

Kobalt doesnt completely suck but its considered a consumer i.e shadetree mechanic/home owner tool
there about the same as husky from home depot wich arent all that bad either

Im seriously looking at craftsman for filler tools and matco for the main stuff My cheap side coming out plus every dollar i save from tools goes into my 454 build and the gtp build

rmm...I have no clue what that is! lmao! I like the blue color and they have been good so far! :th_thumbsup-wink:

I have used a few kobalt tools. They are not bad. I might end up buying some for home. Just depends on what I need and what I find.
