Lowering Springs

How big was the ride difference? Like night and day difference in harshness? Or still remotely comfortable ride? I have some brand new Vogtland springs, and I'm debating on whether I'll put them on or sell them. I really love the stock ride, and I don't know if I'm willing to part with it. Insight???
 


what eibach springs are these? they only springs from eibach i found drop the car 1"??? this looks like 2"
 
I have the "Original Drop" SSCs with KYB AGX Struts
I'm very happy with the ride & the 1.7" drop turned out to be about 2"

okay well, what do I need? spring compressors, a jack? impact wrench, socket wrench, mouth guard, helmet? What do I need?
 
I agree that there should be a sticky on lowering spring info, but there's not enough useful information in this thread for this to be it.
