Whats the model of our oem battery??

Prolly get a better response if you move this to the correct section...I have no clue so thats the best help I can give you :P lol

Yeah, group 78. Get an Optima if ya can. If you have a big stereo get a yellow top, if you have acc like me get a red. I love my Red....

BTW, Sams has them for way cheaper than Autozone or Oriellys with a better warranty (3yr warranty, 72 mo. pro rate)...

damnnn thanks iron ill look into a red top i do have a stereo but i wanna red battery HAHA

Your stereo is not gonna require a yellow top battery. Your system does not draw enough power to warrant the extra backup battery power the yellow top provides, you aren't going to be sitting at any autoshows with your radio on only are you? I am guessing probably not, so a red top will do you just fine.

I went with the Sears top of the line Titanium battery with dual posts, one on the sides for the GM connections and the top posts for my grounds and power back to my amps.

sorry lee but yeah the durlast red top will be just fine and its only 79 bucks! ha i baught a tusanami "24k" battery terminal stud that on the end of the studs threads after its all done and tight to the battery i have a stub with a place to install my fuse holder cartridge what have you bottom line i dont need top posts also ha =] but yeah thanks for the heads up on red tops man! ill have mine within a few days ha
