Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

i love my GP theres no getting around that but i cant deal with the issues i been having even though they are simple i dont have the knowledge or space to fix them so i have two other cars in mind first one is the one im leaning towards

2006 Pontiac G6 GTP:

Between those two I'm all over the '05 GTP. Reasons? More aftermarket support, in fact more support in general; the Grand Prix is a bigger car; the Grand Prix HAS A TRUNK (fold the roof and see how much room you have left) in the G6; and the Grand Prix will have a higher resale value down the road. A hardtop convertible is a "niche" car that won't have the same appeal to a broader audience that the Grand Prix will, IMO.

i think my hearts set on the G6 its nice i wouldnt do anything to it but tint the tails and its got balls and its a classy whip str8 up P**** magnet and i think thats what i been lookin for

I disagree but, hey get what you like, your the one that has to drive it.

btw thats a beautiful 05'

the g6 is ok, presonally I like the G6 GXP one with the hood scoops...hard to find, maybe its a 09 that has the scoops...but anyways, defently the GTP FTMFW! but also consider a GTO man, lots of power and if ur looking for a P***** magnet, nothing like having a Pontiac that blows the doors off mustangs....A 05-06 GTO will get u lots of coochie...U couldnt run them over to keep them off the goat :)

i dunno im diggin the G6 tho 240hp
Unfortunately, the convertibles only have 227 HP instead of 240.

IMO, I'd avoid any convertible that wasn't designed from the ground up without a roof. Chopping the roof off of a car designed as a hard top usually results in excessive body flex. At least drive it with the top down over some rough roads to see if it's acceptable to you.

As a comparison, these two cars (the Grand Prix and the G6 convertible) are in two completely different categories. Do you need a large midsize sedan, or do you want a convertible?

Buy something very old for very cheap. Then use the extra cash to rebuild the car to use everyday. New drivetrain, suspension, interior. Old car style with new car comforts!
