So i got the GTP to the track yesterday... ran a 14.3, had traction issues though. i really think i could have gotten a 14 flat. But now my SES lights on so i gotta figure out wtf happened. seems to be driving fine so hopefully its nothing big.

I did kill a Cobalt and a bunch of other stupid little ricers with honda's and such
 


Nice bro. Actually that's funny cus when I took mine to the track about a mile after I left the ses light came on and stayed there for about two days. But then it went off and didn't come back. Don't know what it was. But good job on the runs bro. Look at my sig and check out my times
 


ahhh jeff my padawan. i meant to tell you atco sucks for street tires. 14.3 isnt bad considering you arent tuned yet. etown is better for street tires, plus you must learn how to launch the fwd sled. im dropping off your 3.4 tomorrow to the shop!

Want 13's easy?

3.29 gears

In my '02, I ran 14.02 with 1.9 HS RR's, DHP PCM, 3.4, PEM, and 3.29's. I had 60' times of 2.00 - 2.10 and was trapping 96-ish. It was a hot and muggy SOB though. So - my gears were doing their part, but I had nothing up top (headers would have been nice) Now granted - I also didn't have my PS hooked up or turned on in my PCM...if so - I had 13's in the bag easy.

(If Jay aka "ABRASIV" will run his car this year at BGPM, then I'm guessing he'll hit 13.8 ish with no issues at all) <---that would be my '02 GTP. :)

A 14.3 on a 2.3 60' is going to be something close to a 13.7 on a 2.0 60'. Just getting that 60' to a 2.15 should get you tickling the 13.99 mark.
