tranny shudder

08 GP 3.8 plain jane 31,000 miles

on the interstate, 65-70 mph pulling a slight hill (not enough to kick down out of OD) I get a shudder, and I can see the speedo move with it, the tach does not move. Is there pressure building up somewhere that is not being let off at the right time and causing this? Or is it just a bad torque converter?? Or......:th_nervous: I am getting the run-around from the dealer, so I want to go in there and tell them to check _________ and I really hope that takes care of it.

I have noticed the problem at other speeds, and then it goes away, but my wife (that's who drives it most of the time) said that it is happening more often.

Is it as simple as just changing the fluid? Because that needs to be done soon.

any help is appreciated.

I would rule out that it is not a misfire causing your concern and since it is definately new enough and within mileage of being under warranty I would really press on the dealer to fix this problem because it is under warranty. If they wont help then talk to the manager, and if he wont help contact GM until it gets resolved, there is no reason for them not to fix your car. Take them for a ride and let them feel what it is doing and tell them you dont want the car back until it is fixed. That is how I would handle this because afterall YOU are the customer who purchased the car and there is no reason it shouldnt function properly while being under warranty

that's the plan, I will update when this is resolved.
