Ran out of gas no start gurgeling noise from egr area???HELP! PLEASE

any help/input will be so awesome! Im stumped...My 03 grand prix 3.1 SE 96,000 miles~~ ran out of gas a week ago. Put gas in no start.
No sound heard at fuel pump.
Replaced fuel pump relay today, fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator. Still no start no sound at pump.
Strange (not loud) grinding type noises comming from EGR valve or 1 of the tubes in that area??? This grinding sound occurs when I turn the key off and/or when I remove the ignition fuse main, the sound will start up when I pull the fuse out and when I replace/put the fuse back in??? So strange. Im stumped and ready to buy a fuel pump but just want to be sure as others have told me to check ignition area first.
PLEASE HELP W/ ANY IDEAS! I just dont know and dont have the money to keep guessing, lol...=)

UPDATE~ When I unplug this red/blue plug the noise dissapears. I think it may be part of the map sensor wiring harness?? This plug leads to a series of other plugs through black tube. Does the whole harness need to be replaced?

First you need to figure out why the fuel pump is not comming on. Becaus that is your main and more than likley only problem.

Being that you replaced the relay already I would have to say that you may need a new pump. If you need to know how to change it you can follow this post that I made on how to do so.

i know your so right I need the fuel pump. I will call thank you so much! I foung one on ebay for $99 but Im afraid to buy it their... Im an ebay powerseller but just seems scary buying car parts on ebay.
Anyways thanks for setting me straight, The pump should be working and would not be quiet due to a clogged AIE VALVE, correct?
 
By the way that post w/ the pics AMAZEING! Guy told me he had to drop the tank, but because of yours and other posts I knew better!

Yeah. Don't buy that pump off of ebay. I'm sure they could gie you a much better deal than that. And no the IAC valve would not cause to car to not run or the fuel pump not come on.
 


ok ill try calling now, hope they are open. All I can say is thank you so much! Those pics make me so confident, i can do this. =) I love working on cars, its just about having all the right tools. Oh and knowing whats wrong, lol...
 


Geeeer, Im good w/ cars but sure cant figure this site out, lol... I ll try to fix it, lol... Did you check that listing, its used but from the company you spoke of...
 


User CP then select edit options on the left hand side. Then select enable private messaging. I sent you an email regarding that link to the companay I recomended. So check your email. Like yahoo or who ever you have and it should be in your inbox.
