hey guys got an offer on free tint for my front windows :) i already have 15% around the back 3 windows....i live in chicagoland, IL should i do 15% on the front too? yes i know 15% will look better and fukk the police, but i dont feel like dealing with the tickets so i was thinking ill get 35% on the front to save me the drama yes or no? im thinking 35% will still look nice with out giving me tickets and being a batcave at night....im leaning on the 35% what you guys think
 


Like it or not, once IL HB3325 is signed into law, your 35% up front will still be illegal.

in order to comply with the law as it will be when changed, you will have to have 35% in the rear.

vehicles with up to 35% in the rear will be able to have up to 35% in the front
vehicles with 35% to 30% in the rear will be able to have up to 50% in the front
vehicles with darker than 30% in the rear will not be allowed to have tint on the front windows at all...

I had 35% on the front windows and 5% on the back windows of my Tiburon. I never got harassed by the police. I would go for it.
 
Im havin the same issue, this state sucks :p
I was thinking of doing that same setup though, 15 rears 35 fronts.
35 is nothing, if a cop pulls you over for that he's an *******.
 
stop being a wuss and get 15%. it looks good and if the cops have something better to do they wont pull you over just for tint.
 
glad im moving back into the city, i cant ever own another car with clear windows after i tinted my prix this dark.
 


^^ I'd do 15% my car is 5% all around and I love it. Idc what the cops say, I like how it is from the inside and the out and I hate when cars have the front and back tinted differently.

Illinois seems to be a californian version of a midwest state. I'd move to another state where all your windows can be tinted the same.

I thought firearms was the only thing they were unreasonable about.
 


best to be 20% all around at least or youre wasting your money. youre just going to want to go darker.
