ever since i had my GTP ive wondered WTF is with the green dot on the rearr view mirror??? i can turn it on and off and i dont notice any difference cuz theres still a glare behind me??? anywayz is there a way to TIGHTEN the rear view mirror due to my powerful MTX subs hehe it moves when im bumpin to metallicas drum solos =p anyone know if you can tighten it? thanks:th_thumbsup-wink: soz if this is in the wrong spot idk what topic it should be under mods.
 


It's to help when people get behind you with their brights on. Mine never has seemed to work. Or at least I've never noticed it working.
 
Not that I know of. I think it's like a ball and socket joint. Just turn the bass down LOL
 


I have that too the button next to it turns on and off the "auto-dimming mirrors".
It seems to work for me with ppl behind me with brights but it doesn't work for those annoying police lights :[ lol
 
I don't bother with the autodimming feature. Well I don't bother with my rear view anymore because with my subs hitting i see it slowly drop down til I see my back seats in it.
 
get a better mirror. The 350z (most nissans in that case) work wonders i hear. Ares will leak after a while of punishment like you've been giving it.
 


i hear krazy glue works wonders! lol... and the mirrors themselves for the "auto dimming" last about 7 years before they go to s*** so i would say if you want that green button to work... invest in a new mirror! lol
