Long story short - want to get back to stock exhaust

Greetings guys (and gals),

I will make this quick, but like the title says, to make a long story short, I want to go back to stock exhaust.

Only problem is. . . I no longer have my stock exhaust.

So my question to you all is, what are my options at this point? GMPartsDirect.com vs direct from dealership?

I currently have custom exhaust from the R/T downpipe back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I mean that.

Thanks again.

first thing I would do is post in the Parts Wanted forum, you never know what people have sitting around.

I'm the Kansas City area...I've got a stock Y-Pipe and muffler/tips you can have if you come and get em...they are too big to ship IMO...they were cut to make them fit in a trunk but can EASILY be welded back together.

get a catback from the junkyard. cheap and effective. paint it with some grill paint and call it good.

Nope...they cut off the exhaust of every damn car and send it for scrap...that's how they make their money...cats go for mucho dinero...you're lucky enough to snag a DP half the time. My offer still stands :p I'll make more room for my new engine stand and Cherry Picker soon :D Which I need since I know I am going to be pulling this damn motor out...again...lol
