Pulled a CTS like a week or two ago. It was an old friend of mine (friendship ended on bad terms) and he flew past me so i stepped on it and started to pull ahead. Then came up to a red light. Light turned green and I noticed I forgot to turn off Traction Control so he gets the jump as I shift up then back down. As soon as he hits 2nd I blow past him then he turned off.

Any advice for the shifting?
 


Yeah, if you like your transmission IN your car quit manually shifting it up and down. Leave it in Drive and turn TCS off. Then get some mods.
 


Well it is basically the design of the LS9 with many different characteristics...it is still all aluminum 6.2 with the Eaton Blower...granted the Vette has a 2.3 vs. the Caddy's 1.9 or something like that. Boost is lower on the Caddy...its under 10psi. Intercooled differently...pistons arent forged...ummm...oh and the Caddy has a 3 belt system vs. the ZR1's typical twin belt setup like on a GTP for instance...miss anything?
 
LS9 has titanium components in the valve train and different block characteristics around the cylinder walls as well as a dry sump oil system. The LSA has no titanium, same block as the LS3, and a wet sump.

It's pretty much an LS3 with the LS9's blower.
 
The TVS blower is different though on the LS9 and the LSA. The ZR1's is bigger by nearly a half of a liter of displacement.
 


must have been a regular 3.6 because the di3.6 is 306 hp and will own a n/a3.8. even though it weighs 3900lbs. but i did beatup on an 03 3.2 cts but its plugs were fouled out and had oil in the plug holes
