My gtp against 2006 Nissan Altima SER

Raced a guy at school with a 2006 Altima SER tonite, he got me by a car by 95 mph. I guess thats not too bad b/c all i have is: L36 block, l67 upper, stock blower, 3.4 pulley, k&n drop in filter, headers and full exhaust. Wasnt runnin the water meth but i dont think it would have helped much at the point im at right now. He had a 6 speed, intake, cat back exhaust.

Time for the mods lol.

Maxima SER....???? never heard of Maxima having a SER model...just Sentra...

Altima has a SER? rmm...cool...I had a 96 200sx SER but it was a "sentra" just the model was the ser..never new Altima came out with one! but cool!!! I will have to try to read up on it!!

yeah those SE-R's will scoot for a N/A V6...they got the 350Z VQ...nice cars IMO...

yea those altima's are pretty quick my friend has the regular v6 3.5 altima and he kills all day...they run mid 2 low 14's stock,with those mods maybe high 13's....and if they had 6 speed grand prix's a lot of cars would b in trouble

I ran one before the cam swap at the track...my 13.8 vs. his 14.0...and he trapped higher than me too...I give em credit for sure...

I never thought they were that quick. Normally the import V6's have high HP but the torque curve just isn't there, at least that's what I found with the Toyotas.

My brother has one and it's a sick looking car and it goes like a bat out of hell. I'm just waiting for him to race my other brother who has a 2003 VW Passat W8. I already know I'd beat them both, not to brag.

havent scanned after the headers, but before i was runnin about 10 degrees of timing at WOT... so.... yea.

And I realized it after I posted that video...it wasn't even a SE-R...it was just a 3.5 V6 Altima with a 5-spd and bolt-ons...so I am guessing a SE-R would have been a better race for it...BUT...
