my gt vs my friends comp g vs my friends 00' gtp

yea I got a 3 way race about a week ago,n my car club we r the only 3 pontiacs so we all lined up and mind u both of the gtps have H.A.I. nd I have a hv1 tb,slp catback,slp intake,dhp pcm 1.0....so the comp g jumps on both of us but me n the gtp come back and I beat the gtp by a nose....I hesitated about posting this cuz nobody believes I beat both of them but I wouldn't waist my time typing this if it didn't happen but the gtp has 2 '15 kickers and 19's and the comp G had 3 bad spark plugs so both of em want a rematch,i'll make sure 2 youtube it,I still have me winning lol.....(yea my head is a little pumped but if u beat 2 gtp's with a gt u would 2 lol)
 


GTP prolly is slower due to the 19's and audio...Comp G is probably about to blow up with KR if it has 3 bad plugs...just my 2 cents...you can run my GTP and I have a miss ;)

Like is always said, anything can happen on the streets. Good run and good kill but just keep in mind that these results might be a bit skewed because of the conditions you mentioned.
 
yeah, I'm not sure how you beat the GTP with just those few bolt ons but good job none the less. The comp G should rip both those apart if he's got three bad plugs (in which case he shouldn't be racing).
 
Ya no doubt about racing with bad plugs. Did he drop his pullley and not do any supporting mod. The weight and extra rollout of the 19's hurt him bad

rmmm...Comp G should rip both them apart:th_scratchhead::th_scratchhead: same motor just better suspension I think the axle ratio is like 3.29 tapshift and wheels are lighter...does that make THAT big of a difference? If so then every CompG I raced must have had more then 3 bad spark plugs..
 


Same motor? The L26 vs. a L67? WAY Different. Series III Gen V blower...260hp vs. a Series II Gen III 240hp...a little different ;)

Rmm...Well no hunny Im sorry your wrong. The compg was made in 2004 with the L32 block...L26 is NA never new of a CompG NA. I have a 2007 so there for I have the SAME motor as the CompG. As in the Gen5 blower and the L32. Again like I said before whats the "big" thing about the comp g just better suspension and maybe somewhat lighter....

Oh I just think a stock comp G vs. a stock L67 powered GTP with 19's (which make it slower) vs. a bolt ons GT...

You would think in reality it would take it...with 3.29's and all...with the GenV too...just my 2 cents...

furthermore, compg's are so damn inconsistent stock I'm not surprised that it didn't win. tell your compg friend to throw in some autolite 605's since hes stock and give you guys another run.
 
Didnt use Wiki, i dont ever use that, only reason i was giving you **** is because Jess told me about you being an idiot over it, so i had to say something. if it was a typo then no problem.
 
lol yall r crazy lmao,but yea he put some plugs n a couple days ago and I drove it....its fast as hell,he ran neck and neck with a Lincoln LS so I know he would smoke me now,well not smoke me cuz despite what some people might think my gt is fast...lol and for the record not tryna be cocky but I think I could beat a stock gtp anyday...the L67 that is
 
GT's with a few bolt ons (exhaust, pcm, colder plugs, CAI) can beat a stock GTP (L67) so i wouldnt second guess you being faster than a stock 97-03 GTP, but that Comp G will be more of a challange.

You also have to look at the weight differences too, the Comp G is a little bit heavier than you're car too.

You wont touch that Comp G if he does a pulley drop, and Nitrous on a close to stock L67? why? Also if he goes intercooled you wont touch him even if you do top swap.
 
top swaps make good power if he can get the tuned flatend out. just because the comp g is droping pullies dont really mean much either. if he does not have the supporting mods to go with it and a good tune it will probably just make the car slower.

and the 3.29 gears do help out.
