• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

For those of you that took apart a Gen V

club of used to own a gp
I finally got my s.c taken apart (snout bolt stripped :th_angry-teeth:) to clean and throw in a new coupler...When i removed the s.c in 3 pieces i noticed there wasn't a gasket around any of the mating surfaces. I checked with the stealership and they don't know anything about it (they only sell it as a complete s.c). Im trying to figure out if i should use squeze out gasket or do I even need to :th_scratchhead:

The surface where the rotors slide into the case doesn't need to have anything added to it, but you'll want to use an anaerobic gasket maker for the snout side. Use sparingly, because it will squeeze out like crazy, but make sure you get the entire surface covered. Tighten down, and give it a few hours to cure before you put any fluid in.

how much on average is a gen v blower. im goin to be looking into getting one after my headers, & dont want to over pay.
