Dont know what my paint code is

Soo i was over my women's house the other night and when i got up the next morning i dound a half dollar size paint missing off my rear quarter. Like it fell off. It must of been cause of extreme cold temperatures tht night and i always keep my car in the garage. Well anyways I dont know how to find my paint color, I suppose i will just get a little bottle of touch up paint till spring. It's right down to the steel and i dont want it to rust or anything.
 


I can't recall if it is part of the VIN or not, but I bet the Pontiac dealership can look up the VIN and tell you the paint code.
 
The paint code for your car is found on the trunk lid. Where exactly on the sticker I cannot recall but with the information in the link above you shouldnt have any trouble sorting it out.
 
the paint code is the very last line on the service parts identification label, and like SS says, it's on the trunk lid. it will be noted by WAxxx etc... ..... may also show a U before the WA number. if you see an L and another WA number, that's the lower color (if it is there, it will either be the same as the U number, or will be the graphite color for the lower valance (GT/GTP)) ...but the L might be blank.
 


ohh really, could i use the clearcoat that i bought at the automotive store or do i have to have specialy kind of clearcoat ?
 
very nice i like, ill get into that some time. I should get her re painted this summer it would look verry nice.
