Welcome! Congrats on your awesome "new" car! Limit burnouts/hard driving, install cooler, change fluid, your tranny will last a long time. No problems with my '08. Good luck and happy wrenching! Enjoy your GXP!
 
Like the others said a cooler is an absolute must! I had a Dark Cherry 2005. Before a cooler trans temps would get as high as 220* cruising at 70. After a cooler temps never went above 175* even in town in traffic.
