Made some grills for it and installed them yesterday. The original grills were MIA so I had to fab up my own. The original plan was to paint them black, but I ended up really liking them silver. Finished it off nicely I think.

Yeah, wondered that myself. Love they are called heat extracters and then they are all but completley covered up. Just the tiny hole on the right side of the tray for the water to run out. LOL! I'm not kidding myself, it's just for looks. ;)

Seriously doubt it improves performance. I've got enough performance mods for my tastes anyway, I'm done with that for a while. Next on the list is an alignment, couple new tires for the front (rears are new), and a little exhaust work I need cleaned up since the SLP header install. Then it's just gonna be clean, clean, clean until I get it spotless again.
 
Looks sweet! I hope to come across one of those hoods eventually, probably not too good of a chance though.
