• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Ah, duh. Yeah, post MAF makes sense. I'll take plenty of time to go through the instructions. Just got the new-mod-in-the-mail excitement. Was torn between rockers and meth, but figured that water/meth is perfect for the Heaton. I wouldn't be as quick to do it on a daily driver, but seeing how little use this car gets it was a no brainer.

Thanks Scott for the pics. I'm just gonna drill the blower case. Have a spare in case I mess it up, lol. Nah, I'll be fine.

its a npt tap and fitting, so drill it, tap test fit tap some more. you want the end of the injector tip flush or just past flush, if you leave it inside the threaded area it wont mist right.

What nozzle size u using, Scotty?

Also, I'm thinking there might be a way to pull spark in the event of a pump failure. That's the only thing I'm not crazy about with the kit, there's really no failsafe except for an LED. I have an idea but gonna test it first because it may be a dumb idea.

the led light does its job. no way to pull timing. its set. you need to watch your wb. i got my light mounted next tot he wb. i got a red led from another failed project, so i used that, it gets brighter, like if i just get into it enough to start spraying, 6 psi it will be dim if i hammer it it will go full bright.

my last tank i filled up was 3 weeks ago, since then it used 1/2 the tank. as long as your not in boost all time it lasts a good while. while tuning expect to drink up a couple gallons easy.

im using the large injector, but i got a ic ported heads and rockers and it seems to take it pretty damn good. i started out on the middle jet, but found the larger one worked best for me.

Nice, thanks. I'm gonna start with the middle jet and go from there.

What I'm thinking, there is a wire in the AEM harness:

5
Boost Safe LS
Out
18
AWG Green 1.7A Low Side output. Grounded when error condition

I could use that, and a n/o relay so when a failure happens it grounds the IAT sensor. Then it's as easy as pulling timing in the IAT/spark map. That's if the IAT reads high when grounded. I'm guessing it does but I need to do some tests.

Kit is on the Amazon truck now. Just thinking out loud.

Just got the kit. Hmm, my engine bay install ain't gonna happen. Dang pics made it look a lot smaller. Pump is massive!

why mine is in the trunk, theres enough wire to make it. i had to add a foot to the pump and level sensor wires to reach them where i mounted em.

How does this look? Couldn't find any other pics of people putting it in the case. Gotta run to the store and get a tap. Everything else is roughed in and tested.

right where the harness is on the front, just to the left of the flange the tb gets bolted to is where mine is. where your looking there might hit the hood, you got a tube leading to it to.

same location as the gen 3 with tb spacer, but to the left of the flange. id have to go out and take pics for a up close. page back you can see the tube loop into the area it is in too. to the right of the bbv its under the harness pretty much.

Too late!

Clears good fine. Went two 3 stores looking for 1/8" npt. Then found one in my tap kit. I think it's beer thirty. Happy Father's day!
