• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Turns out it was head gasket not lim but the engine is coming out saturday and as long as it doesn't have any bottom end damage I have a new plan!

I keep being told to use stock head gaskets but I can't find an oversized bore one and according to zzp's website they are only good for 400whp

Did you grind the rivets off and carefully pull apart the layers and clean the paper fuzz out from the damn cometic Packaging?

I've heard of people pulling apart the layers and coating with them Copper RTV... then putting layers back together and installing.

Is that something you would also recommend?

I checked the cylinders with a bore scope 2 and 5 are wet but otherwise look good, they have a little less carbon build up. I drained the oil and there is very little if any coolant in the oil. So I'm back to thinking maybe lim failure I find it hard to believe that both head gaskets would fail at once. So tomorrow I will reassemble with new lim gaskets and see where we are at. Hopefully it's that simple.
