Just bought a 98 gtp and can't figure out what's wrong with it

I bought it a couple months ago and all of my windows and sun roof have stopped working, and my ob2 plug won't hook up to anything either. The radio works but doesn't show anything when I first turn it on I have to drive for about 5 minutes and then it comes up
 


obd2 port is the fuse for the power port. if the power port works now you got bigger issues.

theres two fuse boxes, under the hood and glove box. check the fuses for the windows.
 
I changed the power port fuse a couple times to make sure that wasn't the problem but still nothing.
I will check my window fuses also, is their a sunroof fuse?
 
id think so. theres a fuse map showing you what they power. read it and check the fuses. both fuse boxes. might have two. never know.
 


if the fuses check out next could be the drives side window switch, it goes bad the windows can quit working. try playing with the child lock switch. might come back to life.

then the wires from the cab to the door can break, you'd have to pop the accordion tube, the inside kick panel, and the car door inside panel off and look for damaged wires.
 
I will make sure all the drivers side is good also.

What problems all happen with the ignition switch going bad?
 
Oh the ac/heater isn't working either if that matters, it sounds like it is when turned on but no air comes out, in not sure if that connects to this or not.

All kinds of things. Most commonly is no HVAC and no auto on lights. You can replace the ignition switch, or do this "ignition saver mod":

I will definitely give that mod a good look to see if I should do that. And thank you for the schematics also.

No problem. I bought a new ignition switch a few years ago, with the plans of changing it. When I did, I found that all my aftermarket alarm wiring was tapped into the switch wiring, so I changed plans and just did the mod. Been almost 3 years and it is working just fine, so it is a viable option.
 


Seems the guys have you going right on most of the big stuff. Your lack of radio display is a bad bulb. Its in the radio and possible to change. I typically pick up a fresh one on ebay
