I have had nothing but trouble finding the freeze plugs that goes in the front top of the intake manifold and the pulley bracket on top. Part store just cant find them, cant say what size they are. Need help with this info. Thanks Miles Truex

are you referring to the coolant bypass elbows?
One goes from the tensioner bracket to the intake and the other goes from the tensioner bracket to the timing cover.
There is no freeze plug / Welsh plug in our lower intake.
The coolant elbows are available in any Dorman/HELP isle of a parts store

Are you talking about these?

If so check this thread out http://www.grandprixforums.net/threads/67181-Aluminum-coolant-elbow

Thank you all for the information regarding the Elbows. Even the guys at the part store was unable to help me, thanks again. I have replaced both at they are working great. I now have a new problem. One of the rear freeze plugs has come out. It is one that is at the rear towards the firewall. I can see it from underneath with a light. there is also what looks to be a oil sending unit and wire between two of the freeze plugs. Is there any way to put back it this freeze plug without taking the motor our. I love this little car but all the little things the person that had it before neglected are needing fixed. Thanks for any help you can provide, and thanks again for the Elbow info. Miles Truex

if you can reach and clean the hole of the rotted plug, you can put a block heater in the hole. or pull the engine.

theres only a kr sensor in the block its where it lives. nothing came out but coolant.

Do you know if I removed the Exhaust manifold in the rear if I would be able to reach the freeze plug. There is not enough room to get the plug in from below. I really don't want to have to pull the motor. Thanks Miles

it can come off. un bolt the cross over, the dp and then un bolt it from the head. the cross over and dp bolts might just break, so be ready to drill th eold studs out and have new nuts and bolts ready.
