89 Grand Prix just purchased for 395$. I have a few questions

This is my second Pontiac. My first being a 93 Bonneville ssei I had in my younger days.

I'm still a sucker for these cars and saw one at a lot by my house for 395$ couldn't pass it up 89 Grand Prix
It's actually not in bad shape 2.8
and has ice cold air. I intend on repainting it and restoring it to it's original 80s glory


How difficult is it to swap the 2.8 out for a super charged 3800?
. Any information on this is appreciated I would like to order the motor next month

Has anyone on this forum ever put an L67 in an 89. ? It would be my first time doing more than an oil change
. I can usually you tube something or look it up and I have access to almost every tool including engine hoist and stand. Is it a difficult swap compared to other 3800 jobs? Do I want a series 2 or 3.
I need details.....and if anyone has done this can they post a pic of their ride?
 
Has it been done?. I have a couple mechanic friends who can " bail me out".
Anyone know anything here ?. I need some answers. not what I should or shouldn't​ do with my time and money 😋

If you did some reading and research instead of just coming here looking for it on a silver platter then you might actually get somewhere.

I don't feed into it... I really couldn't find anything specific to a swap in an 89 I know it can be done .

It's the internet. I don't sugar coat things for people. If you don't like it then I don't know what to tell you. Get some thicker skin. He said "Point taken and thank you blueguy". All people have to do is google things. It's not rocket science. Apparently you're upset? Sorry about it, happy.
 


Not really upset, but you're not sugar coating anything - you're just being a dick. Skin's probably thicker than yours, but that doesn't matter. So since it's the internet, you can just treat people badly? How's that work out for you in real life?
