that is if my dad will leave me the **** alone long enough to do it!

i dont fuking care anymore. i cant do this... i give up, i cannot do this. i dont know how, but this has got to go to a mechanic tomorrow..... im just fuking done

sorry to hear your misfortune with this, but if you read up on a few threads you should be able to figure it out. the hardest part is the torque sequence.

i know what to do, i just cant to it... i dont have the knowledge or experience to do it. and now its going to cos my mom alot of money for something that didnt even really need to be done...

if your still doing it or need questions asweared my yahoo messenger is chris_8907 ill help ya out if ya want.

First off, everybody starts sometime and somewhere. It is easy to get overwhelmed when you are not sure and/or haven't done something before. But you got to remember, if you don't know what you are doing and/or not sure, don't do anything until you do more research or get a pal who does know what they are doing to help you out. Starting something and not finishing it and having to admit that you didn't know what you were doing makes you look a probably feel foolish. There is nothing wrong with asking for help or passing on a project that you are not comfortable doing. I'm sure you have learned a lesson with this experience. Remember, as you do more, you will get more experience and more knowledge how do to things. Don't give up, start out dong smaller projects and work your way to bigger ones and you will be doing well in no time.

Good luck in your future endeavors!!! :th_thumbsup-wink:

remove uper intake, remove lower intake, replace gaskets, put back together. you dont have to touch the valve covers or the rockers, your moving into head territory. remember to use rtv to seal it up or you will just be leaking coolent when you get done.

go see dubob's vid- I just finished my LIM tonight. Get a haynes manual and look around on the site, all your answers and help are right here. good luck and calm down!!

First off you need to stop.

Let me ask you something. HOW are we suppose to help you if we don't know where you are at in the process or even what you're doing???

I understand you may not be too firmiliar with the termonology but you need to try to explain where you are in the process if you do want us to help. I think anyone here is willing to help you as long as we get enogh info for us to do that.

Are you changing out the upper intake manifold gaskets or the lower intake manifold gaskets?? The intake on top is called the upper and the one on the bottom is called the lower.

go see dubob's vid-

I do not think a newer member that does not even own a grand prix will know where to find that video or even what the hell you are talking about.

If you really want to help how about posting a link up?

hell newer, i never could find it my damn self. but yes that video explains all.

and really its very simple. remove upper intake, in my case supercharger, theres the gasket for the upper intake, then remove the lim (lower intake) there is your lower intake, not put things back on the oppisite order you took them off. its really strait forward.
