L67 hoopty. What do i do with this pile!

Hi guys,
I bought this pile of crap on an impulse as i can pass up cheap running driving cars. Now what to do with it, body is shot. Strut towers and subframe are clean but rockers are gone. I put a bumper on it because the one it had was broken in 3 parts. The good news is it has a l67 and only 142k and runs and shifts mint. What did i pay you ask? A non running 94 eclipse and 300 bucks.

Lmao, i think ill yank the engine get a comprehensive list of what i need for a top swap and let the scrap yard have the rest. I want to go turbo so bad but top swapping my gt is probably safest.

I guess i need to buy a tuner and start learning. How did i end up turning this thread into plans for my gt lol what i really wanna know is whats my best bet on this regal, would i see more money back on a part out or dumping the whole car at once? I mean what i got here is a pretty low milage l67 and 4t65hd trans shoved into the ugliest clapped out body you have ever seen.

there is always more money on a part out if you find buyers.

I would junk car, keep boost loving motor and build the trans for future tire smoking fun. Once complete sell current motor and trans, swap and smile

My wife was just surfing here and seen a picture of a built clean l67 and seriously just asked me why dont you pull the engine put it on your stand (just bought a picker and stand) and make it look pretty like this one. So that makes sense, then no major work would need to be done with the engine in the car....

Well I'm not sure of what your budget is but if it were mine I start with the darkest window tint that you can barely see out of (including the front windshield) and then I'd tint the tail light lights and sell it for a profit to some kid in town!!!

Now see i still have my pregens that i had on my gt wrapped in brand new tiger paws, i have the missing side skirt in my garage ready to go back on with some exoxy and self tappers and platidip is cheap to make it one color, the interior of it is clean and leather and everything works. I figured some kid would be stoked at a grand.

Sold the **** box the way it sat for a grand. Old man was convinced he was going to fix her up and make a ton of dough lol. At least I was honest and told him it was a **** box beater. I did buy another w-body but I'll let you in on what it is in time.......

If only you could have seen how happy this old man was! Funny thing he showed up in a super clean hummer h2 all jacked up and what not, first thing I asked was why he wanted this p.o.s!
