Finally Ready to Kick the eBay Headlights to the Curb...

So I went out to look at the headlights on my GTP this morning, it had rained pretty hard last night and they looked really foggy.

Not only are they foggy, but they're also full of about a quarter inch of water.

Done.

So I could put my stockers back in, although they're a little messed up or buy something else- I've seen the ones on PFYC and I'm not impressed- any other suggestions?

Yup, first thing I did. I suspect the crappy rubber boots they come with have degraded and let water in or something. As I remember during the installation, there are corners cut everywhere with respect to everything.

Their workmanship and attention to detail is seriously top notch.

The only problem is, what I want from them is on the pricey side, because quad retros with halos and LED DRLs around the outside edge with custom diffuser screens...

That's why I'm here, Holmes, I'm sure someone else didn't know about them and this probably bumped up their biz, at least I hope it did

On topic a bit more, I really like that brand- I'm thinking I'd have a hard time not checking a lot of those options- anyone know the upper limit on them? I know they said the average for them is around 400. I'd like to spend less than that, but if I'm going with a product with that levels of quality I'd be tempted to add a lot of the optional goodies.

Wow, that's probably a lot more than I'm willing to spend on a 20 year old car lol.

So I went back and found the headlights that came with the car- the drivers side appears to be a stock headlight and the passengers' side is an aftermarket replacement, but a good one. Unfortunately, a bracket broke off on it, so I went looking for one on eBay and came across these- not sure what they are apart from aftermarket, are they as crappy as the price suggests?

You can do it yourself buys some blank housing and the parts you want to stuff in them diode dinamics ebay classy where ever and build them. im gona someday to cuz im not a fan of my spiders either

Who knows. Is it worth a $50 gamble and the PIA on having to wait for a refund?
