What To Look For When Buying Used Engine?

No need to be mad when you know deep down that I'm right. You know that if headers actually made a difference, you wouldn't have kr problems on your own car.

It's ok. I've been there too. No need to get so mad.

if you only had a clue....keep talking your bullsh it. you just prove my point that your a dick head who offers crap advice over and over.

No. I can't think of any situation where the engine will literally explode.

The worse a cat clogs, the more it will start to limit acceleration and eventually rpms.

I bought a comp g with a chipped piston. After I put a new motor in, it had a hard time reaching 60mph.

The cat ended up being clogged...i could see pieces of the piston caught in the cat. But, I'm guessing that the reason the piston let go in the first place was due to a partially clogged cat.

gotcha, yes I believe I have a few chipped pistons, but haven't confirmed with a bore scope. I have found a Series 2 supercharged engine with 120k on it, comes with a 30 day warranty for 450. I'm going to get that here in the next few days hopefully. Hard part will be removing the old one and putting this one in. hopefully I don't get stuck halfway through and am able to get everything working.
