Retrofit headlight install

I recently bought retrofits built by Classy's Retrofits, I was wondering if I should worry about the buzzing issue with running the DRLs in my 05 GP
 


I was told they would buzz and flicker and throw a charging system failure alert if I didn't either put tape over the auto headlight sensor or manually turn off my DRLs

I have not installed yet, the seller said the issue had occurred on his 06 but my 05 may be different in that the PCM doesn't control the voltage on 04-05 ?
