I AM PEWPIN!
Hello,

Wondering what all you crazy folks are running for MAF tables for the LQ4.

Wondering what size of coupler I need to buy and where to get it to mate up to my Throttle Body.

I'll be on ported heads, 42.5 injectors, TEP Trans with 3.29's, Gen V, Headers, XP Cam...

Just trying to get all my ducks in a row.

Thanks

All GEN 3 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 trucks used the same MAF sensor, find a table from the early 2000's V8 truck and copy it over. Then you'll have to fine tune everything from there.

being you got 42 injectors you could tune them to the maf file. how i did my car. stock maf file, and tuned the injectors.

I went with 4" couplers from frozenboost.com, and a 4" to 3.75" reducer for the maf on one side and 4" coupler on the other. They were a little big on the throttle body but the 3.75 on the tb was way too small. Everything sealed up fine though.

how it works in dhp is you scan your maf kpa, and ltft.

the injector file is kpa cells 10 through 100, you look at the kpa cell and the long term fuel trims are and either turn the cell up or down. on 42's raising the value by one should raise the ltft by one. so if you were pos 2 you'd add 5 to bring it to the neg side. and would end up close to -3.

I have always set my Injectors up and then Tuned off the MAF. MAF tuning gives you more fine tuning than just doing the injectors

My antivirus says this dropbox has a trojan virus.
