wheel exchange 2007 grand prix

I have damaged16' wheel on 2007 grand prix .Can I replace with similar wheel from salvage yard as long as it is same size and style wheel. My concern is is whether or not there would be a problem with sensor compatiblity on the replacement wheel. thanks JJL

what do you mean by pair the tps. not versed in this .do you have to reprogram the replacement wheel. original sensor in original wheel is no longer usable it had oxidized and stem fell apart thanks
 
Most repair/tire shops have TPMS relearn tools.

At my old work we charged like a small fee to check the life on them and relearn them. Being that the wheel is going to as old as your car, the battery in the TPMS will be the same age and they are only made to last roughly 7-8 years. Some for sure go longer but keep that in mind.
