compg trailing arm bolts, aluminum or Dorman steel?

K guys.
I am replacing the trailing arms and brackets with the Dorman bar and brackets.

The old bracket bolts are aluminum with aluminum studs.
Should I use the old or the new Dorman steel. I am thinking the old aluminum.

In grand GM fashion they only used 3 of the 4 holes in the brackets. Only 1 facing forward where the most tension would be. CompG suspension what a joke.

I have never heard of an aluminum bolt or stud, why would you choose that over steel? Keep in mind I don't know a thing about 04+ GPs.

the armor coated bolts are more desirable, most black oxide/zinc bolts are gonna corrode to **** real quick

Shlt you sayin I should swap the coated in.

Poop, guess I gotta dig through my trash.

edit> found em. I did put a dab of anti-seize on the new ones. Maybe I'll worry about it in another 12 years.
