Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Oil pressure light came on help....

How does it do when you rev it? How long has it been doing this?

You could have a blockage in the pickup tube or a broken pressure bypass spring in the adapter. There could be just that much wear in the bearings. What about your balance shaft? Is it still in? Heck, you may be as unlucky as I was and have a spun cam bearing.

Whatever the problem is, 6-7 PSI is well below the recommended minimum pressure. I would say don't run it until you get the pressure issue figured out.

its only been doing it for a week or so as far as i can tell. i usually dont even drive the car far enough for the oil to get hot enough to even do that. i was planning on running some seafoam through it to make sure nothing was blocked up by a bunch of crud over time.

when i rev it the oil pressure goes up like usual, but it is still low compared to before. balance shaft is in there, but disabled.

when you guys spun your cam bearings it was low regardless of throttle?

I dont know about my first motor.
But on the second one,i had the same symptoms you are having.
But when i gave it gas mine would up.

Yea, when my cam bearing went, my pressure was doing the same thing. 4 PSI at idle and up to 50 with a rev or under load.

homie, you got ported heads. you win either way, haha. ive never had my car run without knock either, beat me there too?

That's only because I had 6 weeks to port them while my car was down late last summer. The blasted thing's down again with 3 chipped pistons, now... lol Woohoo paycheck-eaters!
