I am looking at possibly purchasing a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Any advice would be appreciated![emoji16]

Will my wheels fit to the other one? 245/45 18 are those

Yes your rims would fit a 2000 GT.

Rust is the main thing you want to look at on a 97-03 body style. Rear strut tower rust under the carpet is something to look for and the rocker panel rust. Both are the most commom places to rust first. Otherwise 97-03 has different quirks and issues than the 04+ but the main problem or general repairs are the same.

They run the same engine/transmissions with the same issues, same basic suspsension setup and common things there. The Na 3800 in that GT will for sure feel slower than your GTP.

What does the "Na" stand for prior to the 3800?

You can see what I've seen now, is that a big deal to fix/replace by the bottom passenger side doors?

Looks like the rocker panels have rotted away and the metal inner rocker piece that connects the platic rocker cover to the body has rotted away.

It's not cheap to weld in new rocker panels if you have to pay someone, it might be over half the value of the car.
