When I turn my AC and heat on, it only works on 1-4, 5 doesnt work. I read online that if the blower motor resistor fails, 5 should still work. So im having the opposite issue. I checked some fuses in the glove box, anything with HVAC or AC and they all seemed fine, so i'm not sure whats going on. Any ideas?

High speed has a relay for direct power. And its own fuse.
So if the fuse seems fine, the relay then? also, do you know what exact fuse is for the high speed relay?
edit: i think i just realized, the relays are in the fuse box?

Check the fuse first, and if it is ok, then check the relay.

Take the lid off the fuseblock and there is a map of what is going on.

For future reference, on my 2001 SE, the high speed relay in built into the blower motor resistor.
I only had 3 and 4.
No 1 and 2, and no 5.
Blower motor resistor fixed it, have all 5 speeds now.

Looks like I would check the HVAC hi fuse in the glove box................. Yes...........
The high speed relay is usually part of the blower resistor.
