My 02 Grand Prix GTP DIC and Dash Fan Stopped Working, is there a link????

Ok so i have a weird question is there a connection between the DIC and my Dash Fan, I would not think so but i am unsure. My dash fan will work at 5 on the nob and my DIC is sparatic at best but dies when i try to turn on the fan.

Has anyone seen this???

Any info would be Greatly Appreciated!
 


Sounds like your blower motor resistor if your blower motor still works on high speed.

I started with the blower resister and that didn't change a thing..I took the bottom cover off the steering wheel and tapped on the switch box ..by where you put your key in and everything would work for a while
