How to tell gen 1 vs gen 2 ZZP 04+ triple pod?

I have one I bought, don't think it was ever installed and it looks like the factory finish. I think it is a newer one. I will take a pic when I get home.

Yeah it's definitely pigmented plastic, not painted, but it's also harder and less flexible than the OEM pillar.
 


Yeah I had trouble with mine fitting good too. Just put a screw in it and it'll be alright.
 
And get better gauges. Aeroforce, wideband, etc. You don't need to know your volts at every second....

I know they're snap in only. I have an 04. Just put a damn screw in it to hold it in There good and be done with it. Don't make me take a pic of my ghetto screw at the top bs to show you....
 


But.. But.. mine fits fine at the top and bottom. And the snaps fit too. It just doesn't fit snug against the weather stripping, kinda twisted, little bent.

Hoping a few days in the sun will get it to "relax". I see the OEM pillar has a plastic ribbing in it to keep it's shape so I might figure out how to transfer that over.
