Tips on how too open heat intercooler core?

Trying to open up my wbs intercooler core housing ...anybody got any tips ..I see taps on the side ..but rtv on this thing is tough I stripped quick smh
 


Imma get home and post a pic ...its gotta come apart its got a crease line all the way around it and grey rtv along the edges

your core tubes break off?

id get a thin putty knife to start with, and pick a corner to start love tapping it in between the two 1/2's, work the putty knife down one side, as it starts to separate use small screw drivers to pry it apart slowly. working your way around the outside of the core.
 
Naw I broke them off trying to get it to come apart a different way ...fail....I'm trying that now its like I keep catching metal spreading iono ...imma keep trying
 
im sure your gonna chip the edge up some, just try to keep it to the edge.

never know, once it starts to spit it may just pull open easy.

It work think u and in the one on high gave me the wack a mole confidence strength I needed to split it lol
