Gang--glad to be here--quick question. Can anyone recommend replacement ground effect for the 2003 4-door Grand Prix. Factory ones are trashed--and discontinued. Please help if you can--thanks
 


those are called side skirts or rocker covers iirc. if you mean the trim under the doors. junk yard would be the best place to start.

Thanks guys--The rocker covers are easy to remove--the lower door panels a total different thing. Because all the pieces are urethane, they actually break before coming off the doors. The rocker covers have a really nice factory system of mounting so they may be able to be saved coming off another car. Problem is those pieces are now 13 years old and just as brittle/fragile as the originals I had to remove from my car. What I'm very interested in is information/recommendation from anyone using/installing an after market set. Ideally pieces that mount right into the factory mounts, especially the rockers but also the lower door panels. Appreciate the response
 
^^^I hate to say it but you might check GMPartsDirect.com for all that mounting hardware. It might be pricey but at least you'll get it new.
 


No, the 2003 GTP is the factory white. Wife chose the color (her car). We're the original owners but, plan to pass the car down to the son and his wife. Just need to refresh the paint and ground effects. Only 82K on the car--drivetrain is still stock.
