Swaping engine and trans from top ( first timer)



Air pump code, cylinder 2 misfire and a fuel level sensor code.

I'd focus on the misfire problem if it's still present first, then address the others. Clear the codes and see if the misfire comes back for cylinder 2.
 


take one of your coils off your old engine swap it with the coil for cylinder 2. see if it runs better, if it dont change the plug wire with a old one. if that dont clear it up, pull the spark plug and swap it with a old one from the old engine.

if none of that fixes it, your swapping the injector next.
 
i did have that misfire before i put this one in, i had p0220 p0302 p0420 and p0463 these were the codes i pulled right before taking it out.
 
your using the new engines fuel rail and injectors, the coils and the icm under it too? new plugs and wires?

i think you got a injector wire issue. pull #2 plug and see what it looks like, maybe its getting no gas.
 


the misfire will come back asap. you can hear it when its running.

the tps code could be the gas pedal or the tps on the tb. air pump im guessing you left it unplugged maybe.

yup you're right it came back along with 418 and 463, do i need to buy the whole thing (icm) or just the circle that 2 is on(not even sure that made sense)
when you said to check injector plug 2 you meant the one that connects to fuel rail right? what am i looking for when i pull it out? Are the fuel line plugs in the same order as the spark plugs?
 


injector are in the fuel rail you unplugged them and plugged em back in, the wires for the injector could be damaged.

one coil fires two plugs, any coil will work it need not say #2 on it. if the icm is cheap take it too. yours could be bad.

what you can do now tho is swap the coil with the one next to it, swap the plugs so they are in the same place after the coil swap. see if the misfire moves, then you know its just a coil.

huh i would thought it was supposed to have gas all over it, i remember gas spilling out when i removed the old fuel rail from the line. Ill make sure that its dry.
