• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Update:
Neither insurance company can get in contact with the other driver to get a statement from him. Luckily for me, it's really easy to get in contact with attorneys. So I'm meeting with one tomorrow, and I'm going after the old coot.

This is why a dash cam is still on my list of things to get! Glad you are ok, I hope the best for you man. Good luck on the legal end of this unfortunate situation.
 
Still in a waiting game. Spoke to an attorney, didn't sign anything yet, but she gave me good knowledge and advice.

Also, in going to look at an '07 GT tomorrow :)

If its in otherwise good shape, you could get TEP to do a solid rebuild and have a nice ride for a good price. It will just be a bit til you get it on the road since TEP rebuilds can take a few weeks with freight and all.
 
About the only update I have is that liability has been determined - him, obviously :P - and I got a new car.

Also, had a few more followups with doctors, and I'm good to go back to work!

Next step is recovering my deductible from his insurance company, then finishing up lost wages stuff, then wait for a totally clean bill of health.
 
Have fun working on it. ;) After helping my cousin work on his A4 I determined to never own a VW product in my life.

The only one fussing here is you. ;) All I did was make a simple comment to make sure someone knew the truth.

There are people out there that believe the whole widetrack thing to be true, as if they were wider than other cars.
 
I haven't been driving long. 1 thing I learned though is never assume someone is going to do something even if they're supposed to do it because they could do the exact opposite.
