I just realized this morning that the guy adjusted the hinges on both front doors and got rid of the creaking, lined them up perfectly, and touched up where the doors hit the fenders for free. I didn't even ask him to, he just did it, and he buffed it all out and had it looking nearly perfect (as good as touch up paint can be). Definitely going to this guy from now on

Got a good wash and wax done, just did a full detail

Also cleaned up the tires, which led me to a discovery... 3 broken belts on one of the tires. I'm calling a tire shop tomorrow afternoon and having 4 new tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Positions, 245/45 R17) mounted on my S/E rims.

****ty but also a good things so you have an excuse to finally get those SE rims ln, funny a few weeks ago I had a similar issue, I was at work and 30 mind away from ordering a new set of rims, decided to get the car on the lift and noticed my belt was sepersting.. had absolutely no intention on buying new tires that day but ehh it's not worth risking a blowout. I joked with one of my buddies that every time I replaced my tires on the GP I got a new set of rims at the same time, this time was a bit different

Nah, just soap and water. I'm pretty excited to get the SE rims on, but I need to pick up a set of lug nuts for them. These rusty originals and black caps just won't do. Ordering those and red inlays tonight

Clean CompG! Looks sharp - your SE rims the 17" '04 GTPs?

Be prepared to have fun with the rear inlay, I had lots of fun with mine on my '04...., spent forever trying to get it all on right. Toothpicks and lots of patience I tell ya.

Thanks! No, those are the original Comp G rims. I bought a set of 17" 2006 SE rims in mint condition a while back. Haven't put them on because of the weather

as for the inlays, yeah, they look like they're gonna be rough to get right (especially with how damn picky I am) hopefully it's worth it, though. I just wanted some red to set off the brakes

Oh, niiiiiiiiice, jelly. I'm always on the lookout for the '04 GTP, or '06 and '07 SE rims.... Also, I wasn't going to tint my back-up bar, but after seeing your's tinted I think you convinced me, haha. How many coats it take to get it that dark?

Yeah, it's totally worth it, red set off my black really nice, and red calipers - my Dad liked it so much he ordered one for his white '07 he's selling, lol.

I mixed 2 parts clear coat to 1 part gloss black, it took 3 coats if I remember right lol. I'm really excited, it's all finally starting to come together

So they cut me a deal sense I always wanted one.

Aren't you in a group on Facebook? I swear I saw a post of someone switching their gear display identical to yours.... ;)

I'm in all the Facebook groups, the drama is so fun lol. Yep, that was meeeee, my mom drove the car before me and she decided to put out a cigarette in the shifter one day. Couldn't stand the look of it, so I put in a new shift indicator
