super charger pulley? No start?

I have two questions about a 3.8 supercharged regal.

I started the car and let it run and noticed the water pump was leaking. I shut off the car and tried to restart a few minutes later but it would crank but no start. I tried this a few times with no luck. I disconnected the battery and reconnected it and it started right up. No codes.. I heard the fuel pump priming each time... Any thoughts?

The supercharger pulley that has to removed with a star/torgue bit.... should it spin freely? I removed belt and I noticed it takes some force to spin while most all the other pulleys U can turn very easily. Not sure if that's normal.

The supercharger pulley should will have a bolt that is a hex, if it's Torx then it's been changed. The pulley is also pressed on. It should spin with a little resistance but once you have it turning it should turn free. You are spinning about 9# of metal in there but there should be no rough spots. When you turn the pulley by hand and snap it back and forth, you should have minimal slack, it shouldn't rattle. Take a pic of the Bolt you are talking about.

yes it should spin freely like the other idler pulleys. replace that pulley. has nothing to do with the no start tho.

jeff, its the sc idler by the crank, that pulley has to come off to get the w/p bolts out. its a t 50 on most.

Yeah that's the one the T50. I had been getting some weird noises from the supercharger belt. One pully shredded itself a month ago ( the pulley under the coil packs). So when I changed the water pump Wednesday, I checked all the other pulleys again. So I will change it I think its called Supercharger; Smooth Pulley

The no start I'm thinking is fuel related. I'm going to put on a pressure gauge on it and see what it shows me.
