they are U clamps. band clamps are 4 inches wide, cost 10 bucks each.

this is a U clamp what they come with, these are trash toss them.

buy band clamps. they seal much better and dont dent the pipes.

I know this is unrelated but would a leaking egr cause idle surging and stalling at start up?

yes it can. so can a bad fpr or a dirty tb.

smear rtv on the egr pipe, see if it stops. theres a seam that splits on them tubes.

Well when i replaced my lim gasket i super cleaned the tb so thats not it plus i already found the leak its where the house plugs into the egr housing that comes from the lim for whatever reason i cant get it to sit right. Maybe the hise is bent..

I found a whole l67 motor minus wiring harness for 500$ the guy said it ran find but it has 174xxx miles on it. Should i get it?
