It's a rubber (material varies between vendors) piece you install on the steel impellers to close the gap between the impeller and housing. Takes your snow throwing power from 3'-10' to like 30' ! Even slings the wet stuff too

Do the impeller upgrade on the snowblower while you're at it....

Reminds me of water pump impeller to backing plate clearancing on a Pontiac V8.

Just bought a 90 firebird that has no motor or trans but had a 3.73 true posi rear. ricaro race seats 10 1/2 inch wide after market rims $700
