Got the new dash cam for the Impala yesterday. Installed the add-a-circuit, ran the wires, and set up the cam. It was real easy on the impala, key on fuse right in the drivers side access panel.
Also dusted off the old dash cam that was in our van that I thought was broken, it kept shutting off. Then I thought, that was only a week before we started getting crazy electrical issues with the van. So set it back up, wires were still there and everything. Seems to be working fine, that works out.
Popped the hood of the 06 to see a racing stripe of cv grease on the underside of it.....Every w body we own. Doesn't matter if it's an 02-06, 94k-118k. I always pop a cv boot, every w body in the household.
Ordered an inner boot kit. I'm getting good at these.

Took the center counsel out to clean all the soda goo out from in between things. The cup holder insert was literally glued in. The tc button connector was somehow glued on too. Also pulled the center counsel insert out to find liquid perfume in the little indents. Both my gp's were girls cars, so not surprising.

my gp when i bought it was from a girl and she had a kid. sooo guess what i found in the air vent? a letter from the school. there was so much soda, candy and food in the car i think i made it lighter by 10 lbs. i also found 2 cd's in the car and other "must haves" that girls think they need

Yeah no more than a CD found in mine. It's fairly clean, the po of mine was rather careful with it I guess. My cars po also had a kid, and the car seat left slight marks in the leather

my car was also a girls car and she had kids. i found food, trash, permission slips for school, the console was trashed and gross. and im sure it was cleaned up a little bit cause i got it from a used car lot.

Checked my painted grills for chips......not a stinkin one.
Plastic dip as primer(front and back), topped with Rustoleum.
first pic is April. second a minute ago. Now if my bumper and hood would follow suit....

Same. Took the back seat out and not a crumb underneath. Car was spotless, except for the exterior lol.

Bought my girly GT off a local cop's ol lady in 09. Girl was fine. Long blond hairs and coffee stains, lots. First baby wasn't a year old when I snagged the car. Only signs were those telltale baby chair dents in the right quarter, makeup embedded in steering wheel, and the volume and fan + buttons fingernailed to death. Oh yeah and a grumbly diff and no A/C.

I actually was thinking of this plate even though I watch the Yankees.
Looks better than white. Costs an extra 40 so... 115 a year, kinda makes me scratch my balls pondering.
