+1 nice logmaking. Beat hell outta working on cars for a day I bet. That was the fun part, now comes the splitting day.

Dad texted me the other day so happy he got his 1940s Clinton chainsaw running. That thing lets the chips fly, man. I haven't used it since I was a young man. I don't say since kid because you gotta be fullgrown to handle it well!

These must be Ford or Mopar dogs or one of each... fighting over a great big stick when theres a pile of 6.0 LS'es right there. Laying out in the rain. And a 350. All broke but still...

Cutting wasn't bad, the saw went through the dry wood like butter. It's not splitting too well with my current tools.

And junk, that reminds me, just a ways from the bonfire I'm having, I found an engine in the ground just down a hill. All I can see is a distributor cap and part of the intake. It's a 6 cylinder. The rest is underground

Yea the wood kinda has to want to be split lol. Forgot fire pic season was setting in, I think thats the first I've seen this year. Ah, warm. Glad I'm down here and can just use rain tires year round. First freeze was this weekend.

Fire season is almost over here lol. Lows are starting to get below freezing, which is way behind last year thankfully. This time last year I'd never dare to sit outside

Same here, I was in shorts all weekend. It go dark at 5:30PM, but it was warm lol. Low last night was 35*F though so I don't know how much longer that'll last.

Encountered the stupidest design at work today. Spent like 20 minutes removing an air cleaner box from the wheel well of a focus to check the air filter, to find it completely sealed shut. It was a lifetime unserviceable air filter....because Ford. Fail

And yes in the wheel well, where the air is dusty

Please tell me you smashed it open like a piggy bank (fixed it). Now go look up a CAI kit for that car, I bet they cost extra.

I was pissed I spent all that time on that. A new filter means buying a whole new box, which is dealer only says AutoZone. Cai would be cheaper. I would like to smash it, see what they think is lifetime

Should have ripper her apart like this guy on this KIA, the "non serviceable" $1400 viscous coupler I think it was he fixed for like a hundred bucks in parts haha.

Not sure about anyone else but I can spend hours watching thst SouthMainAuto or EricTheCarGuy just do things. Not sure why but its interesting watching.
